Born in Calicut, I was raised in Bangalore and Madras (I still prefer this over Chennai). To top it I lived two of my best years in Pondicherry. Spent 7 years in the US mostly in the NY area. I Have also had e opportunity to travel to few other countries like Canada, Singapore, Netherlands, Belgium, Oman and Maldives.
Cricket, Photography, Movies and Politics are my passions. I have spent all my childhood playing street cricket, leg cricket, book cricket and more importantly mouth cricket. Movies and Politics had to get to me being in Madras. They are intertwined and part of every Madrasvasi's blood and Sweat. Photography is a newer passion and still getting to grips with the tricks of the trade.
Creativity and innovation also attract me. I am even awed by the fact that man can think differently. Some improve the way we live, while the others lead mankind to destruction. Each fascinating in their own ways.
Sometimes the question is why? - Everything is already perfect.
I also have keen interest in entrepreneurship and like to read about interesting start up companies. Successful start-ups are the true examples of mixing passion and creativity in right proportions. As much as these companies take inspiration from life's philosophies they also contribute back for man to learn.
My name in Sanskrit means Born in the Mind. Some people believe it was a reference to Kama (Cupid in Indian Mythology) who was born in Lord Brahma's mind others also attribute it to Lord Hanuman, who was born from the meeting of the minds of Anjanaadevi and Lord Vaayu.
I will use this blog though to share what is Born in my mind.
